Coochiemudlo Island is located in Redland City, to the east and only 45 minutes drive from Brisbane city centre. The island is easily accessible by passenger ferry or barge from Victoria Point Jetty and only takes a few minutes to reach.

Driving from Gold Coast follow the Pacific Highway north and take exit 30 to Cleveland. The Beenleigh-Redland Bay road runs direct to the Victoria Point shopping district. From there take either the Coulburn Rd or the Benfer Rd and Link Rd turnoff, which leads directly to the Victoria Point Jetty.

From Brisbane Airport or Sunshine Coast travel south on the Gateway Motorway (tolls may apply) and take the Mt Gravatt/Capalaba Road. Follow the signs to Victoria Point.

Parking

When traveling by car, public parking areas are available areas close to the jetty.

Please note that many of these spaces may be used by commuters from the island. Additionally, spaces may be shared by boat trailers and vehicles on the weekends. So we recommend starting early and using public transport where possible.

You will find 6-hour, 12-hour, 18-hour and 3-day car parks available at the jetty. There is also unrestricted parking in the top car park on Masters Avenue.

Please pay close attention to signage to avoid getting a parking fine.

Unlimited on-street parking is also available around the local area. We suggest you refer to the parking area maps available on the Redland City Council website.

Public Transport

The only available public transport is via bus with a bus stop conveniently located at Victoria Point Jetty. Easy to hop off the bus and hop on the ferry.

Routes servicing this stop most days are Route 270 / 274 and 279. There is a bus interchange at Victoria Point Central connecting to other routes to and from surrounding locations.
